Do you feel overwhelmed or beat yourself up at the end of the day because everything on your to-do list didn’t get done? One of the common things I’ve heard busy women tell me they struggle with is their tendency to OVERSCHEDULE. We tend to create unrealistic to-do lists and then beat ourselves up for not getting everything done. I used to do this all of the time...😩🙈. Sound like you, too? By asking the simple question of, “How long will it take?”, you’ll learn how to: 👉get real with your time 👉prioritize better 👉plan more effectively ...ultimately, you’ll find yourself more productive and in control of your time. And when you’re in control of your time...you’re in control of your life! 🚀𝐓𝐑𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 ✍️When you sit down to write your to-do list/task list for the day, also write down how long you think the task will take or how long you want to give yourself to do it next to it. 🗓Open up your calendar and figure out 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 you’ll be able to do those tasks, prioritizing your most important tasks and scheduling those in first. The key here though is to 𝘯𝘰𝘵 overbook yourself. 👉As you fill in your schedule, you’ll be forced to prioritize what actually needs to get done as your open time slots get filled up. *Don’t forget to block out time for breaks and flex time for things that may/will come up! Personally, I have at least 2-3 hours throughout my day set aside for flex time. Does this method sound like it would work for you? Let me know in the comments below!
