I used to think of "self-care” as spending the day at the spa, getting my nails done, or a mimosa brunch with the girls. While these things can be fun to do, they weren't things that necessarily recharged me. In fact, they were just more things "to-do" and required energy and planning. ⠀ ⠀ I've learned that Self-Care is much simpler! ⠀ ⠀ ✨Self-Care to me now is anything you can do to take care of your physical, mental, and spiritual health.⠀ ⠀ Things like:⠀ ⠀ Meditating ⠀ Walking / moving your body⠀ Eating something nutritious or even just drinking water💧⠀ ⠀ Really, just whatever YOU need to recharge. ⠀
