Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is REST.

When I'm tired, stressed, overwhelmed, my tendency is to push through and get it done no matter what. I took pride in that. But this was a quick recipe for burnout and easily turned into a vicious cycle that only left me feeling defeated. ⠀ ⠀ ✨Anyone else ever felt this way?!⠀ ⠀ Other times, I'd feel paralyzed because I couldn't focus and would just give up which only made me feel worse. ⠀ ⠀ Over time, I've learned to shift my mindset to see the value in taking time to rest. There is power in taking a step back and recharging. ⠀ ⠀ As a new mom, now more than ever, I find it more important to rest and take care of myself because I want to be able to give the best of myself to my daughter and family. ⠀ ⠀ Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is rest. 🌼⠀
